Innovation Norway is the Norwegian Government's most important instrument for innovation and development of Norwegian enterprises and industry. Innovation Norway supports companies in developing their competitive advantage and to enhance innovation.

The Royal Norwegian Embassy in Riyadh is responsible for Norwegian relations with Saudi Arabia, Oman, Yemen and Bahrain. The diplomatic ties between Norway and Saudi Arabia go back to 1961. In 1976 Norway established an Embassy in Jeddah, and in 1985, the Embassy moved to Riyadh.
