Dee Dee Myers is Director for the Governor’s Office for Business & Economic Development (Go-Biz) and Sr. Advisor to the Governor. She joined the Newsom Administration in May as a volunteer at the peak of the COVID-19 public health crisis working to support the Governor and his team, including the Task Force on Business and Jobs Recovery.
Prior to joining the Newsom Administration, Myers served as Executive Vice President of Worldwide Corporate Communications and Public Affairs for Warner Bros. Myers also served as White House Press Secretary during President Bill Clinton’s first term and was the first woman to hold the position.
She is a best selling author as well as former co-host of the CNBC political talk show “Equal Time”. She is a graduate of Santa Clara University.
